The Dark Angel

Throughout my entire life I've experienced tragic and landmark deaths in my life. Most recently a college classmate last week and my father back in September. While I know these situations happen to make me stronger, I always wonder why death seems to continuously surround me. From my best friend to my father- it seems as if every so often God takes away the people I love most and sometimes I can't but to ask "why me"....?

One thing I have learned is that I must live like I'm going to die tomorrow.

This is me....Yasmine, the 4th slide on the above article. I'm a 23 year-old Account Executive at a notable fashion PR firm in Hollywood. I'm a recent import to LA. In June 2009 I drove from Atlanta to L.A. in search of the life I had dreamed about. Before then I was a fashion slave in NYC at two reputable magazines where I truly learned the ropes of the fashion business.

So many things have changed in my life since I arrived in the City of Angels but I'll be sure catch you up and fill you in along the way.
